This outstanding achievement underscores the Sarawak Civil Service's (SCS) commitment to excellence and enhancing the quality of service delivery.

The winning teams are TECHSKAP from the Bintulu Development Authority; Lands Tahai Q from the Limbang Division Land and Survey Department; IPOK from the Mukah Resident's Office; and EAGLE from the Sibu Municipal Council.

Led by Sarawak Director of the Transformation and Innovation Unit, Superi Awang Said, the SCS delegation delivered an exceptional performance, demonstrating strong teamwork and dedication.

Their success reflects the initiatives of the teams and departments in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, providing the public with world-class services.

In an interview, Superi expressed pride in the participation of the Sarawak teams at this year’s convention.

He noted that the success of the four teams not only continues the tradition of excellent performance by Sarawak’s ICC teams at each ICQCC edition but also highlights the strong culture of innovation and creativity within Sarawak’s public service, fostered through the Sarawak Civil Service Innovation Convention Awards (SCSICA).

This, he added, has successfully prepared the ICC teams to compete on the international stage.

ICQCC 2024 was highly competitive, with 594 teams representing 15 countries.

The convention serves as a global platform for teams to showcase their quality control initiatives and innovative ideas, presenting creative and forward-thinking solutions to the challenges of today’s globalised world.

The remarkable performance of the Sarawak teams is a testament to the sustained efforts in nurturing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
