BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Sarawak Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Abdul Rahman Zohari Tun Datuk Abang Openg has been conferred the Bintang Darjah Setia Negara Brunei Yang Amat Bahagia Darjah Pertama (P.S.N.B.), this morning.
The state decoration which carries the title Dato Seri Setia was bestowed upon him by the the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien at the Istana Darul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan.
The award was conferred in conjunction with the 78th birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan Negara of Brunei Darussalam.
Among those present to witness the momentous ceremony were Sarawak Governor, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, wife of the Sarawak Premier, Puan Sri Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, Sarawak Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and his wife, Dato Dayang Morliah Datuk Awang Daud, Sarawak Minister for Utility and Telecommunication, Dato Sri Julaihi Narawi, and other dignitaries. -UKASnews
