Public Complaint Regarding Land Issues Delaying E-Waste Collection Centre Project
Posted on : 02 May 2017  Source of News: Public Relations Unit Land and Survey Department, Headquarters Sarawak

Reffering to the news article in the Borneo Post, there is no official request from the Association for a site received by Land and Survey Department. Therefore, the allegation by the Computer Sales and Services Association Sarawak (CSSA) of the delay in the construction of the electronic waste (e-waste) collection centre due to land issues is not true as far as the department is concerned.

It is advisable for the Associaition to approach relevant council to identify a suitable site first and submit a proper application to this department for the intended purpose.
